Hey guys and gals. I’m looking for some advise on doing an engine swap on my Fiat Stilo 1.6 3dr 2004 to a 2.4 Abarth engine. Just wondering is it really worth doing the swap or would it be a better option to just buy an Abarth. Any advise is welcome and if you have done something similar then even better. I had a look under the bonnet at the belts and they look ok. My Fiat dealer garage hasnt mentioned anything about these needing changing. Should they be changed? Got a 1.6 station that's been running without problems for over a year now so they can be reliable cars if you give good care!!! Hello, I have a problem with my Stilo 1.6. Thing is, it wont charge battery upon starting angine, on idle, no charge. If I rev it past 2500rpm, charging starts, then it is charging on idle just fine. After charging begun, it will maintain constant voltage across entire rev range. Swaped zaLVBLo.
